Austin James Loeffler, age 87 of Brooklyn Park, passed away January 2, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louie & Hildegard Loeffler; step-mother, Marion; brothers-in-law, Sheldon Sibell, Bruce Heath; and the love of his life, Darlene, who he prayed daily to be reunited with for the past 5 years.
He is survived by his four children, Cheri (Paul) Montgomery, Tom (Melanie) Loeffler, John (Shelly) Loeffler, Mary (Greg) Schwartz; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Harriet Sibell, Irene Heath; many other relatives and friends.
Austin served in the U.S. Army, was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus, and was employed by Minnegasco for 42 years. His greatest accomplishment in life was his family. He will be dearly missed, but his legacy will live on forever, in his family.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 Am Thursday, January 6, 2022, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave. N., Brooklyn Park, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM and a Rosary at 9 AM.Interment St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Osseo.
