Arrangement Conferences: Take the First Step
Following the death of your loved one, our staff will schedule an arrangement conference with you and your family to begin planning the service. During this meeting, your funeral director will present your options, learn your preferences, and help you make decisions for a special, personalized ceremony. We will also gather important information about your deceased loved one to complete necessary documents.
Please call us to provide preliminary information and set up your arrangement conference appointment. Keep in mind that some services require the presence of a health care agent and the legal next of kin to make the decisions and sign off on forms.
Questions we typically ask:
- What type of service would you like?
- Would you like a public or private viewing?
- Do you have a cemetery in mind for burial? Do you own property there?
- Do you have a location in mind for the service?
What you need to bring:
- Social Security Number in order to file a death certificate
- Photo(s) of deceased for obituary, printed items, and styling
- Clothing and personal items if you would like a viewing
- Veteran information, if applicable (DD214 document)
- Notes and/or momentos to place with your loved one
We understand this is a difficult time for you. And although there are many decisions to make, we promise to guide you through every step and make the process as easy as possible. Planning meaningful funeral arrangements is the first step to finding closure, healing, and celebrating the life of your loved one.
