Darlene Iacono

Darlene “Dar" A. Iacono (Vosberg), age 88, of Osseo, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2024.

She was born to Adolph and Clara Vosberg in Dovray, MN. Moving to Minneapolis, she married the love of her life, Richard, which lasted 66 years. Mom enjoyed decades long enduring friendships, cooking up tasty salsa, reading avidly, and playing the role of Grandma. Though she is now silent, her memory is alive and well in everyone she touched.

She is preceded in death by husband Richard Iacono, granddaughters, Michelle and Angela and brother-in-law, William Goudy.

Darlene is survived by children, Diane, Michael (Linda), Kenneth, Sandra, Robert (Peggy), David (Beth), John (Linda), Steven (Tricia), and Lisa; sisters Janice Goudy and Elaine (Wayne) Madsen; 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation 5-7 PM Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, January 3, 2025, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave. N., Brooklyn Park, with visitation 1 hour prior to mass at church. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Crystal.
