She always stayed busy and in addition to farming she cashiered at the grocery store, was the bookkeeper for Loren’s business, was a restaurant owner, a waitress, a cook at the high school, and the best wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Evie enjoyed gardening, loved playing cards, never said no to a cup of coffee and a pastry. She enjoyed good conversation and many laughs. Her granddaughters and great grandchildren brought her the most joy.
Evie was a lifelong member of Brooklyn United Methodist Church. We know this isn’t goodbye, God will be with us until we meet again.
