Helen Kaczmarczyk DeLalley of Brooklyn Park, MN, formally of Stratford, CT passed away peacefully at age 96 on 3/6/2024, with family by her side.
Preceded in death by husband, Louis; daughter, Diane; sisters Bertha Graczyk, Rose Duda, Antoinette Loch; brothers Ignatius, William, Constantine, and Chester Kaczmarczyk.
Survived by children Christine, William (Pam), James (Gordana), John, Joanne (Mark) and Robert; grandchildren, Carrie (Eric), Amber, Sarah (Craig), Michael, Marissa, Brady, Nicholas, and MacKenzie; great-grandchildren Emma, Camden, Brayden, and Greyson, Arthur and Milo; nieces, nephews & friends.
Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and a devout Catholic. She devoted her life to her family, and relied on her faith to sustain her through trials and tribulations. Helen was born and raised in Bridgeport CT, and was a graduate of Warren Harding High School. After Helen married Lou, they made their home in Stratford CT where they raised their 6 children while running a small business. Upon retirement, they relocated to MN in 1986. After her husband Lou died in 1994, Helen remained active, traveling with friends, spending time with her grandchildren, casinos, and playing bingo. Helen was also an active church member and volunteer.
Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Wed 3/13/2024 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 7025 Halifax Ave N., Brooklyn Center, MN with visitation 1 hour prior to mass. Private interment.
The family would like to thank the staff at Epiphany Assisted Living, and Allina Hospice for their compassionate and loving care they provided.
