Joyce Marlene (Hauck) Atanasoff, age 83, of Champlin. Born in Champlin, MN to Edward & Genevieve Hauck on January 14, 1937. She married Richard D. Atanasoff May 7, 1960 at Zion Lutheran Church in Anoka, MN. Joyce & Richard have 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. After their retirement Joyce & Richard traveled back and forth to their home in Humboldt, AZ. During her lifetime Joyce coached softball for her daughter’s team and was involved in her husband’s football league in which her son played. She also attended many hockey, football, softball, baseball, basketball games and swim meets that all 3 of her children were involved in. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, canning, and her family and friends.
Joyce in preceded in death by her husband, Richard and her parents, Edward & Genevieve Hauck.
She is survived by her children, Patti Hartfiel, Ed (Jaynie) Atanasoff, and Anne (Kevin) Knowles; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
Because of Covid restrictions there will be a private family service with plans for a celebration of Joyce’s life in the spring. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
