Our dear sweet angel Joyce, age 89 passed away peacefully at home and welcomed into the arms of her Lord on February 5, 2025.

She graduated with honors from Henry High 1953, where she met her high school sweetheart Walt.

They married in 1955, moved to the suburbs, raised 5 wonderful kids, and enjoyed a long retirement traveling.

Preceded in death by husband, Walt, as well as parents and siblings.

Survived by children, Jim (Linda) Childers, Dave (Teresa) Childers, Susan Born, Linda (Pat) Laudenbach, Mark (Vicky) Childers; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great (and bonus) grandchildren.

Funeral Service Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at St Gerard’s Church, 9600 Regent Ave. N., Brooklyn Park, Visitation 10 AM, Mass 11 AM, and luncheon to follow.

Private interment Ft. Snelling Nat’l. Cemetery February 12, 2025.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Assoc. in Joyce’s name.
