Leroy J. Lauer, age 89 of Maple Grove, passed away December 7, 2020.

Preceded in death by infant son, Thomas; loving parents, Julius & Margaret Lauer along with siblings, Don Lauer, Jeanette Lauer, Anita Medeck & Kathy Cook; and son-in-law, Scott Kirkpatrick.

Lee grew up in St. Cloud, MN was a member of the armed services and graduated from St. Cloud State. He spent his entire professional career as an insurance agent. His greatest joy was family, tennis, and Nordic skiing. He was an avid fan of all MN sports and any sport his children and grandchildren were a part of. Lee was a man of strong faith and an active member of St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He donated much of his time to volunteering and gave to many charitable organizations.

Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Corinne; daughters, Ann (Scott) Moarn, Mary Laschansky, Jeanne (Bob) Carruth, Carrie Kirkpatrick; son, Pat (Rachel); 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Mass and celebration of his life will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
