Louise Eleanor Wallace Hill, age 84, from Institute, daughter of former President of WVSU, Dr. Wm. J. L. Wallace and Eleanor Wallace, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2021 in Minneapolis, MN. Alumnus of WVSU (59), Delta Sigma Theta, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and retired teacher and para with Osseo School Dist. 279 at North View Jr. High.

Preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Eleanor Pitts and stepson, Gary Jeter.

Survived by her husband of 59 years, Joseph A. Hill, Jr.; children, Toni Hill Duberry (Ernest) and William Hill (Lonie Goldsberry); grandchildren, Jasper (Courtney), Zachary (Dana), and Chet; cousin, John L. Fuller, Sr.; and many other family and friends.

Celebration of Life to be held 11 AM Monday, January 3, 2022, at Brooklyn United Methodist Church, 7200 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, with visitation 10-11 AM at church. Private interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.

Memorials preferred to Brooklyn United Methodist Church or WVSU Foundation P.O. Box 1000 Institute, WV 25112-1000.
