Lynn O'Gara
July 11, 1966 - March 10, 2024
Lynn (Linnea) T. (McClurg) O'Gara, age, 57, of Rogers passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, after a year long courageous battle with cancer on March 10, 2024. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Stanley and Dororthy McClurg; maternal grandparents, Melvin and Ruby Bock; and mother, Judith O'Hotto (Bock).
Lynn was born on July 11, 1966 to Jeffrey and Judith McClurg in Robbinsdale, MN.
Lynn graduated from Anoka High School in 1984 and furthered her education at the University of Minnesota where she graduated with an accounting degree in 1988.
Lynn then married her high school sweetheart Sean in 1989, had their two children, whose lives she was actively involved in (school, hockey, horses). She spent many days of the week at the gym with Brenna and her fellow gym rat friends, one of her favorite places. She made many longtime good friends over the years and we are grateful for all their kindness and support. She will be missed dearly.
Lynn is survived by her spouse, Sean; son, Tyler; daughter, Brenna; parents, Jeff and Cindy; sisters, LeAnne Horve (McClurg) and Leslie McClurg; brother, David (Alana) McClurg; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service/Celebration of Life for Lynn will be held at Word of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers, MN at a future date.
