Beloved father, grandfather & brother.

Age 86, of Osseo, passed away on July 16, 2024.

Preceded in death by beloved wife of 50 years, Mary Ann Schmit; siblings, Lorraine Mosey, Luella Pilarski, Bernice Davidson, Grace Moore, and Thomas Schmit.

Survived by daughters, Diane (Chris) Camillo, and Kathryn (Tony) Strumstad; grandchildren, Sarah (Brandon) Magnuson, Steven (Casey Lynch) Strumstad, and Kayla (Joshua Schmitz) Strumstad; siblings, David (Chris) Schmit, Alice Hawes, and Robert Schmit; brother-in-law, Robert Moore; sister-in-law, Nancy Schmit; as well as many other family and friends.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM, Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave N., Brooklyn Park. Visitation one hour prior to Mass.

Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
