April 19, 1941 - September 15, 2020

Age 79 of Brooklyn Center, passed away on September 15, 2020.

Verne was preceded in death by parents, Verne and Joan Christensen.

He is survived by beloved wife Charlotte; children, Paul, Anthony (Michelle), and Brenda (Ryan); grandchildren, Jonathon, Megan, Cody, Noah, Mason, Saysha, and Soari; and siblings, Gerald, Ron, Bonnie, and Rick.

He will be dearly missed.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 10:00AM at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery immediately following the service.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are limited to 50 individuals in the funeral home at a time. The family kindly asks that attendee's please pay your respects in a timely manner and allow others the same courteosey.

There will be no reception following the burial due to COVID-19 restrictions and concerns.
