Vernon Leo Greeninger, 91, sadly left us on Thursday, May 9, 2024.

Survived by loving wife of 68 years, Celine; children, Cheryl (Paul) Clausen, Claire (Kevin) Mealhouse, Theresa (Gary) Gutzwiller, and John (Brenda) Greeninger; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 sisters; and many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by parents, Alex and Leona Greeninger; 3 brothers; and 5 sisters.

Vern was a pipefitter for 37 years and a proud member of Local 539 for 66 years.

He was an avid fisherman and dedicated to his family.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 10:30 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave. N., Brooklyn Park. Private interment Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls. Memorials preferred to the American Heart Association.
